The Centre for the Development of People (CEDEP), established in 1983, is a Ghanaian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) of local and international repute, CEDEP aims to optimize human potential to ensure sustainable human development in Ghana.
CEDEP has supported numerous poverty reduction interventions through development education, advisory services, research, capacity building, advocacy and networking. Over the years, CEDEP has achieved a credible status as a major national service-oriented NGO. CEDEP has adopted a cross-sectoral approach poverty reduction, human resource development, gender equity and sustainable development, working in various sectors and with different actors.

Our vision is a society that promotes the social, economic, and civic rights of people in pursuance of equitable and sustainable quality human development.
Mission
To support, facilitate and build the capacity of marginalized, disadvantaged and vulnerable groups to become effective partners and together influence policy, in pursuit of sustainable human development in Ghana.
