Enabling People with Mental Illness or Epilepsy to Access their Human Rights in Mid-Ghana

The project is a collaboration between BasicNeeds and CEDEP for the Ashanti Region. This project will enable BasicNeeds continue its drive to promoting community mental health services and increasing involvement of mental health and epilepsy service users and primary carers of people with mental illness or epilepsy assert their rights and needs. The districts in which the project is being implemented are Adansi South, Bekwai Municipal and Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly. Ejura Seyeredumase and Amansie West Districts will be brought on board the second quarter of 2012.
